Well, my air show picture didn't go over as well as I hoped. Life goes on. Soooo, here's another attempt to woo you. OK, maybe not, but not a bad piece of eye candy nonetheless. I actually shot this with 800 iso film. Yes, 800. Lesser speeds looked fine if I exposed for over a minute, but I was missing the "old" look I wanted. I believe this was about f/22 at 30 seconds. The light is actually (no, not the sun) the lights from a distant trucking industrial lot. Hey, use what you got, right? ;)

Yeah, I think I did a decent job at forging it. We ran it on the front and said in the cutline that the light was from the industrial park. A few days later, I got a letter from someone who lived there their whole life and said they'd never thought of shooting it from that perspective. With the letter, they gave me a shot from the other side during a sunset. It really meant a lot to me.

it gives me that old civil war at dusk with the smoke of battle clearing away...
