Hello everyone. Is 1DC only video camera or you can take RAW pictures with it?

You can certainly take RAW (or JPEG) pictures with the 1D C (I should hope so, for $11,999 new and $11,000 used ).

What is really interesting is that, with "Motion Image Photography", you can frame grab beautiful 4K stills from video frames with this camera, as seen here:

As 4K video cameras proliferate, this capability will become available to more and more people. This is one of the reasons that I will be one of the first in line for the new Panasonic GH4K camera!

Thank you for answer. I knew that you can grab 4k pictures from video but haven't raw pictures got better quality
