Canon 24-70mm vs 24-105mm HELP!!!!

Need help trying to decide wich lens to buy the canon 24-70mm F/2.8 or
canon 24-105mm F/4 . Most of my pictures will be of people, outside using natural light. with a canon T2i these is not full frame camera it has a crop sensor of 1.6 any help or recomendations will be of great help:hug::

24-105 is what you want.
I have it, I love it. even used it for weddings w/ my 5D and it works wonders.
But for your case, I'll go with 24-105 still because its probably one of the best all around lens out there.

Figure out what focal length you need and get that lens. Both have advantages and disadvantages. Only you can decide what you need.

Me, I have the 24-70 f2.8 and would not trade it for anything on either my XXD body or my 1D bodies. It covers the range I need it to and combined with my 16-35 f2.8L and 70-200 f2.8L I have the trifecta of fast L glass.

with the 1.6 crop you might want to consider something different. Even though you plan to do mostly portraits you might want to consider a lens you can take wide if you need it. You might consider the Sigma 17-70mm or canon's 17-55 lens.
