Cool! I'm a Nikon guy, but I was gifted an old digital rebel that produces very nice canon colors. I hopped on KEH to find a bargain condition 5D, since I now have a compatible EF lens and a CF card. Looking forward to playing with the best that 2005 had to offer!

Will try to keep the ISO under 1000, and I'll miss the lack of auto-ISO, but it'll be super inspiring to just get a different look and process for a bit.

Arrived in good condition. KEH said "bargain" but I think it's pretty great! Here's one of my first shots.

I used the same 5D from 2010 until 2022, when I "upgraded" to a 5D MKIII. Both are amazing cameras, and my 5D is still working well, though I love and prefer my MKIII. The 5D is no slouch in studio and well lit situations. Low light leaves a bit to be desired, but otherwise it's amazing. I miss the small file size from the 12 megapixel files.
