Canon 7D MarkII + Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L + 1.4x Converter

Hi everyone,

I have a question, I'm thinking of buying the Canon 7D MarkII.

If I use this camera in combination with the Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L (original old version, not the new MarkII) lens and the Canon 1.4x (MarkII) converter, will I have autofocus?

I now have a Canon 40D and it doesn't have autofocus with this combination.

If autofocus does work, will the autofocus fast (enough) or will it be slower when using the 1.4x converter?
