Canon 7D new for US$790?

[fokker]

Can this possibly be legit? The cheapest ones on ebay in Australia are like $1470 and the exchange rate is currently pretty close to 1 for 1 against the US dollar. That's getting close to half price. Can it possibly be legit? I have a feeling not.

This person doesn't have any feedback from the last six months. Seems sketchy.

It's $1400 on Adorama, what do you think?

If it sounds too good to be true....well you know the rest.

Looks like the site is a platform that allows sellers meet buyers. Or say, it allows scammers meet victims.

I am sure there are some legit sellers there, but certainly not the one who sell $790 for a new 7D.

[fokker]

Lol. I wasn't actually going to buy it, I'm not that dumb. Just curious to see what you lot thought.

Still saving for a real 7d...

selling a Gibson Les Paul guitar for $300. They wouldn't even make one for that.
