apparently the Canon model is already here and the Nikon is coming soon.

Is this the first of its kind?

Future question...Will it work after firmware updates?

Think this and few others have recently received some coverage on the Fujirumors site.

If you've already got hi-end Canon/Nikon zooms, etc., it kinda begs the question "why stick 'em on a Fuji X body?" unless your trove of Canon/Nikon bodies got boosted--and you just happened to have an X-T2 laying around.
Cute but not on my shopping list. Maybe if I had a GFX, though.

I would buy this! I shoot with both Canon and Fuji. I have several Manual focus EF mount Zeiss lenses I would love to be able to use on my fuji body. I could care less about AF but aperture control thats what I want.

That's been one of my questions of my Nikon lenses on other bodies.
but most of my lenses are AF-D, so I doubt they ever will be AF compatible on the X-T2/X-T20 bodies. I wouldn't mind my 150-600 to be AF on the X. I figured when I get my X body that I'll only have the kit lens for a long time.
