canon printer ink for Pro 9000 and Pixma MG5220

Do the Canon Pro 9000 and Canon Pixma mg5220 printers have the same or compatible ink tanks. Also, does it pay to purchase only Canon authorized inks, or do the ones on Ebay give the same results? I own the 9000 and I am thinking of staying with Canon for the Pixma MG5220 if the tanks are the same. Any info would be appriciated. Thanks

Hi tenkiln.. I also want to know if the pro and pixma line has the compatible ink tanks. wondering if the cartridges from pixma would work with the pro line.. I don't know if the printer ink from one model is compatible with another model..
