I wish a happy new year to all of you!
For getting in the right mood, I captured firework close ups with a highspeed camera at 100.000 images a second
Because the firecrackers (poland) produce a crazy amount of light, I had to close down the aperture to F13 at a shutter speed of 1/100.000s due to the great light sensitivy of the camera I used.
The camera (photron fastcam) just got 1 million pixels, but because of beeing a fullframe sensor, the size of each pixel is really big allowing to capture a huge amount of light.
