I followed a tutorial in the February 2012 issue of Photoshop User magazine:

Not too shabby... That "F" in fibre is weird though.
 
It's a very 'modern' font called Neuropol that trucates whatever is on the ascent and descent lines, like the a, b, f, and e too.
