Yesterday was a very windy and overcast day. This female cardinal was insistent on getting some food at the feeder in spite of the gusts.

Thanks! They are a wonderful bird. I got several shots of her, but I liked this one the best. It was incredibly windy, with heavy clouds.

What really got me, was the fact that I can see the pupils in her eyes. I think that is a first for me.
