Cardinals !!

Absolutely awesome shots!
I love Cardinals. The males are show-offy beautiful and the females have the understated elegance. Love the way the males feed the females.
The Cardinals in New Jersey are a much brighter, redder red. I've never seen a Cardinal with that nice orange color.

Actually, I have noticed quite a variation in the color of male cardinals. Some that I have seen lately were so bright that it makes the picture look over-saturated while other are a lot duller. I took some more shots today so maybe I'll post a few in here again.

I know what you mean. The are not the easiest birds to approach.
