Carl Zeiss information.

I know nothing about Carl Zeiss other than they have a good reputation. I've just seen a lens by them marked "Carl Zeiss Jena" and "Jenazoom Super". Does anyone know what that means? Is that good or bad for example? Doe that mean it's a top-end lens or the budget end? Or neither?

I'm doing a google and nothing useful has come up yet.

Carl Zeiss Jena is the same as Carl Zeiss, it just had been produced in the German Democratic Republic in the city of Jena.
