Thanks Arch....that guy really stood out to me and I get a range of emotional reactions, which for me is what clowns ellicit, a mixture of funny/sad.

I didn't know the colours or Mardi Gras were so widely spread. That purple-green-gold was all over New Orleans back in 1995, when we got there precisely for Mardi Gras (not having MEANT to be there for the occasion, mind you, we just happened to be there on that very day), and ever since I thought it was restricted to THERE, and now I see those very colours in most of your Carnevale at Pordenone pics! Surprise-surprise!

Hard to pick a favourite!
They are all good.
Maybe I like 3 quite a bit, that group seen all sharp by your lens through the amount of paper scraps raining down (blurred foreground). The "rust.eze" look cute!
You darkened the background in the clown-photo some in post, didn't you?
