Castle Mountain - Banff National Park

I just got back from a week long vacation in Banff/Jasper National parks. Crazy that one of my favorite pictures came from my cell phone. I was driving my wife and I down the Bow Valley Parkway in search of wild life. It was nearing sunset, which we thought gave us a good chance to see something. My camera was ready loaded with my telephoto lens, when we got stuck behind the train.

As I sat there waiting, the sun started to paint the clouds and Castle Mountain in the background. I took a few shots with my cell phone and realized I LOVED the shot. I immediately reached for my big camera and started to change out the lens. And... the train was gone when I was ready to shoot. So all I have remaining is a cellphone shot. But I still love it.

It was great. Banff town was very smoky (all but the last day we were there). When I get time and download a trial version of photoshop (I don't have a single editing program ATM), I will get my pictures uploaded here.
