    great photo.

    herons look pretty funny and awkward at time when they put their wings out and get into poses like this. its always cool to catch them doing something other than just standing there with their wings at their sides.

    Oh...now that's a great shot! The -only- nitpick I have here is that the whites in the feathers just below the face look just a tad blown out...if this was shot in RAW, I might see if you can recover highlights just a bit. Otherwise, beautifully done!

    Great capture. Although GBHs are pretty common here, I've never seen that pose before.
