well i'm loving my new a300 so figured I would post another picture:

i know it's not perfectly straight =/ but C&C welcome and appreciated

Yes, it would have been better yet, if it had been perfectly straight, which is a thing that can be achieved in post, unless it is lens distortion, which I myself, for example, would not be able to put right in post, since my PS version is too ancient.
What annoys me just a bit is the blown out sky, I feel that this is a scene that calls for HDR (at least "test-wise", just to see what can be done), as the light dynamics were, indeed, too large to be captured by a camera in one photo.
All in all, though, I should also add that I like what you saw and how you tried to frame it, lens distortion or not.
