That's exactly my point. Darker images on this forum are going to be WAY DARKER than the background, every time. I have basically stopped posting high-contrast B&W photos here because of that.True, but those gallery walls are not bright and backlit like a monitor, are they?Background color? Meh. Most galleries I have been in have white walls.![]()
If you take a light meter to a gallery, is the amount of light falling on the work the same as the wall surrounding it?![]()
That's a cool tip, thanks I chose Shadowbox and it does create a much better photo-viewing experience. That doesn't solve the problem though, as I assume the vast majority of forum members likely have the default resizer as their setting of choice.Explore these options...
