I'm amazed this hasn't been made yet. It's been present on other threads I've been on and has worked well. The thread title says it all.

So...I hear some interesting stuff has happened in the news.

The subject has been brought up, and we did used to have an IRC channel. Dunno that it would work well here, but I have seen another Vbulletin forum with a java chat applet.

I've been wanting to have a TPF chat for a while, but I never asked about it because I figured the idea would have been brought up before. I'd definitely love to have a chat here. IRC channels are quite easy to set up.
