Greeting,

Attached are a few photo's taken at Pitcher, Okla. This is one of the govt. disaster area's that remains un-resolved. The issue is Lead & Zink. At present the town no longer exists but the chat fields remain. I've been roving these fields for the past four years. Not sure how safe it is but at my age I'm not to concerned.
Please let me know what you think.

Having a little trouble. Must resize photo's to post.
Are there any issues about loosing control of my images? Can they be stolen or used by others?

Now lets see if I'll be able to post a few photo's from the Chat dunes.

Without many visual markers I'm left to show what I can by the traces mother nature has left for us. Under the shallow ground lies the true demon. It's the man made water filled tunnels leaching out lead and zink to streams and lakes.

Terrific set of photos! There's a surreal, almost apocalyptic feel to the images. I particularly like the church, dune with water and the metal half.

Thank you Dan,

I agree with your analysis.
My purpose is, the need to record and show the devastation. My intension is for small self published book.

Very well done!
I like the silver look to the images.
Haven't been out to Miami but have been to Seminole and Sac-Fox areas.

great shooting

I was informed last week the Mining Museum, photo above, has burned. This was one of the last standing building in Picher.
