The wings might be cheesy IMO only because of the diaper/nappy. Selective positioning without the nappy may have looked more natural to exude the feeling of a cherub.
Thinking from the point of view of a parent, the wings are cute. Sets a sentiment that parents would cherrish.

K had no choice to keep nappy one - the little one like his freedom to much and has a habbit of well - making the most of it! LOL
The wings were an after thought TBH. Maybe thats why they dont work quite so well?
