Chihuly

C&W Welcome. These are some shots I took while at the Dallas Arboretum Chihuly exhibit. I thought these few turned out pretty good, wanted some input.......i think

All were shot at ISO200 with Canon 60D; f4 on the Sigma 50mm 1.4 lens. Shutter speed ranged as high as 1/2500 in the first couple of photos down to 1/60 in the last photo (indoors)

I think I'd just about kill someone you really didn't like for a piece of Dale Chihuly glass. Glass is my second passion and I have quite a collection...but Chihuly is so far out of my price range...sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Very nice shots. I saw his exhibit in Phoenix in 2009 and here during 2010. I went to the exhibit here a number of times while it was up, and it was great. I had an annual, membership to the botanical garden where it was set up so I watched them install it and went a number of time, both day and night, while it was here.

Here's another: Bruce Munro. Cheekwood (the botanical garden that held the Chihuly exhibit in 2010) has an exhibit of this man's work this summer. It should be interesting as well.
