I am working on developing my own PP style, hot or cold? other C & C please?

These were all taken with a 35mm @ 2.2, in the future I will need to go with a smaller aperture to keep both eyes in focus. I am shooting these twins again tomorrow for their 6 month portraits (these were from there three month session)

Also, will minor adjustments to the color temp (for feel of the image) be easier to handle with different colored backgrounds?

edit - I have removed the off color temp ambient light from my "studio" since these pics were taken and replaced it with higher temp bulbs.

The color temp looks right on this one (the other two look a bit warm, maybe a bit too much magenta on #2), but the lighting is a little flat. You can increase contrast a little to show some more depth. Also, the background can be brightened up some in post. I also think a little bit should be cropped off the top/right just to balance it out a little.

eyes with a lot of detail typically look better in black and white.

good point, I never know when to switch to B & W.
