children in muay thai camp and more

and most entrees at good resturaunts (food wise) are between 65-100 baht. so 2 to 3 bucks.

ben and jerries? 9 bucks a pint or some crap, walls ice cream cones : 14 baht.

starbucks is more expensive here, and the sizes are a little different. good thing i'm not a starbucks junky.

what else. . . 1 hour foot massage (they come to your house and everything) $7.00

i can't wait to start that other thread about cost of living here etc.

another oddity, we went to the hospital the other day when a friend of ours had a motorcycle wreck, he got stitches in like 10 minutes after walking in the door, walks out without them even verifying that his insurance would pay . . . the total cost for his stitches and stuff would have only been $50.00 anyways (at the er)

whats funny, is someone will try to sell you something for 900 baht, you look at it, say oh no no, and they say you say price. i say 250 and end up getting it for 300 . . . if i was thai even less. ALL prices are negotiable here.

cars are way overpriced here, a lambo sold for just under $1,000,000. bmw m5's i've been told are 300,000+ here.
