Any idea of what is a good camera for a 10 year old boy?

What about this has anyone ever used it?

Depends on the boy. If he is interested in making action videos, then that looks like a good choice. Some kids like video, some like stills.

Has the boy expressed any preference or proclivity toward any aspect of photography?
