Built back in 1984 and still holding up pretty well. Back when the PT wood was actually decent and would last. I have only had to replace the top hand rails so far, other than that its still solid.

Ours is 45 years old & constructed of western red cedar. I have been busy with a wire brush removing the old finish in order to apply a coat of wood preservative. The deck boards @ the right end of this shot are rotting @ the ends & will require replacement. I am getting too old for this work (79).
