Nice idea but my eye isn't really drawn towards anything in particular in the picture. I'm no expert of course but I think it lacks content.

I like this. I think it's slightly underexposed. If you kicked up the exposure a bit the lighter part of the path would pop more. I disagree with theambitiousstranger, I think it has enough content for the photo to "work."

I like the idea of this, and I like the upper two-thirds of it, but the bottom part where the concrete and the grass are almost the same tone really detracts for me. The upper part looks fine to me re contrast and brightness.
