I like how the HDR is nice and subtle, but there's too much stuff in each picture, so to speak, which draws the eye away from the subject. In a nutshell, they're too busy.

Boy your sensor is dirty time to get it cleaned you think? The sky has a lot of noise. The first shot is not working and second shot is better but to like mentioned already to much going on in the foreground that takes away from the church. Did you really need the intersection and signs in there? A close up with a lower perspective would have worked out better. The processing is ok but IMO needs some work.
