Got out on Saturday afternoon and got to spend some time with my D7100 as well as some family I haven't seen in a while. For what animals they had out since it was still a bit chilly, they were pretty photogenic so it was an all around great day. Here are some of my favorites.

all your images are trending to be a bit overexposed.

Now that I look at the cheetah I can see what you mean some of the highlights are blown out from the sunlight. I'll mess with it in Lightroom when I get a chance

Hi,

Nice Rhino shot

Thanks Bill, it was sprinting around in spurts for like 10 minutes in and out of the shadows. It wasn't easy to get a good shot of him/her.

Thanks Robbin, some of your pictures from your zoo walks and others on this forum too inspired me to get down to the zoo in the first place. I hope to get up to the Columbus Zoo this spring/summer too, hopefully I will have my 70-200 by then.

Well thanks cmazz, I'm honored. Truly.

Is your elephant shot supposed to be focused on the tree? The wolf is cool...it almost looks like he's hooked up to a cable.

I envy you folks with zoos nearby. Although I agree about the rhino , I kinda like the wolf.

Thanks baturn, the wolf is heavily cropped and probably the softest of my pictures from the trip but regardless it was awesome how he was just posing like he was looking down over his kingdom.

Yes, I tried to get artsy fartsy.
