no i didnt use any filters. just straight shot with a slow shutter.

Paddy_Pilani, if you choose a small enough aperture for your night photography (which will, of course, lead to long shutter speeds), then you will get this star effect to all the lights.

Jacksonfinter, very nice work! I am so in awe with people who venture into night photography right away. Took me AGES to dare go about it myself!

I'm no pro or anything, but the first shot looks like the horizon is not level. The second one looks very nice to me however.

I like the second one too. I love how you were able to keep the sky blue in contrast to lights of the city. Much better than a blacked out sky.
