Beets me ....

Why 1/30? Raise the ISO and shoot faster

well,it is a still shot, wasn't really aiming to shoot fast, more like shoot accurately

Too much is out of focus. Even small, I can see that the top-most beet is OOF. The tablecloth is a nice background! The tablecloth's strong texturing also shows the out of focus zones pretty clearly. I looked at it small, then clicked on it, and when seen even a bit larger, the shallow depth of field works against the shot. It's just not compelling because most of the good stuff to see, those beautiful beets, and their stems, are OOF. it has an agreeable "vibe" for the most part though. I just want to see it in-focus.

Great detailed feedback Derrel! I intended the stems to be OOF but probably not the best choice, thanks for pointing it out!
