Sorry but to be honest I do not see anything going on....the women's heel is cropped and the guys foot in the air is awkward and the color is too intense. I don't like to be so blunt but it lacks interest.

This is obviously a composition of high contrast and the HDR came out a bit gritty, not smooth. Some of the trees appear washed out. I don't know what's going on there. Try different sliders? That's probably the most frustrating and time-consuming part of HDR, but there's only one way to learn...

The somewhat insolent couple walking away from the camera grab the viewer's attention. The woman sitting and relaxing while reading a book (reading a book?!) would be more interesting, but the walkers detract my attention.

It would be a nice image save for these errors, IMO:

- the woman's foot is missing
- the overall tonal range feels really flat. In photomatix, you need to play with the white and black point sliders, and perhaps the gamma (midtone contrast).
- there's way too much going on. As my saying goes "If there's too many focuses, then there's no focus." Compose better and utilize your aperture to guide the viewer's eyes.

Hope that helps!

Yeah sorry but this just looks like a simple snap shot that you tonemapped.
