I like it, but the cog seems a bit out of focus compared to the grate(?) on the left which draws my attention.

I think that your right. When i took the picture it was pretty dark and i was manually focusing but could not see a damn thing. I think i need to put a small flash light in my camera bag for these situations. Plus i was 5.0 and 60mm so maybe if i had stopped down and just made a longer exposure?
