Interesting image; I wonder if you could have leveled the image a bit. Although it looks like you might not have had that opportunity in your original.

I did try to straighten the photo, It was kind good.. but i ended up losing a lot from the sides though. I somehow felt that original slant to the statue was kinda nice.. its hard to explain, i just like it that way.

But here is the straightened version.

hey folks.. just wanted this thread to go up the list coz i really wanna know which one you think is better... the slanted one (first photo) or the one thats leveled (last photo)?

I definitely prefer the straightened one, for the other looks like this column is going to fall over any time soon. It just does not look right.

And now I know where you are! That's a couple of hours down south, and I have only ever been in your place back in 1983 (maybe you were not even born then), and what photos I took at the time are not even worth their mentioning here....

Nice night shooting with the stars in the sky and the fuzzy, purplish clouds, I like it.

Lafoto, do you really have those photos of Stuttgart from back at 1983?.. Is it possible to scan and post it here, if its not much trouble.. I would love to see how different things looked here at that time.

I was born at that time. lol.. but I was not in Germany though.
