I decided to experiment a bit with this RAW photo and try and add a different look to it. Attached is the original raw completely untouched and then my different spin on it.

Interesting. I too have a mountain image taken by a long lens and it seems rather hazy...is that something long lenses do? Add haze? I found if I used the dehaze slider it overdid it on the contrast. Had to go in and mess with contrast and shadows etc to get it to look more appealing. I'll get around to posting it soon.

Well it magnifies the atmosphere between you and the subject for sure.

Oh, for sure. Guess you gotta hope for crystal clear airspace when shooting long distance.
