Colorless adventure in Isle of Skye

Recently returned from an amazing trip to the ever amazing Isle of Skye, a location in Scotland renowned for its beauty and stunning location. Its a place often associated with brilliant greens and blues because of all the rain and the ocean... the photos out of there are eye poppers. And while I enjoyed capturing those as well, I had a mental task in mind to capture eye-catching moments without color. So, please enjoy my photo-journey through the isle of skye.

Of course I always appreciate feedback. I've felt a bit in a slump lately with photography. Im sure you've all been there. So any feedback whether compliments or criticism is appreciated.

Very nice shots.

My favorite of the bunch is #3. But, I also like 10, 13, and 15.

Some of them have an otherworldly feel, which is neat to see.

I really wish you could have gotten # 14 without the people. It would have been a scene from history. I believe you accomplished your goal spectacularly.

I really appreciate your kind remark! It makes me feel so great!

So. I DID happen to catch this photo with no people. At the time I wasnt sure I loved the composition of #14 so I didnt spend as much time on it (sigh..) but this one I waited a good 10 minutes for a gap in the tourists!

Criticism, (or a critique) need not be negative in tone, but is generally perceived as being insightful, with the implied intention of being helpful.

Empty compliments, however, are just that.

I'm sure you enjoyed the trip, so congratulations!

As for these photos, (17! Whew!) way too many for a detailed critique on each and every one, but overall, they are all evenly middle-toned, which is probably not what you had attempted.
