Second one is definitely better IMO. Might be even better if you had taken just like a step or two to your left before taking the shot in order to make the perspective more straight-on than at an angle.

Yes, you are right... The same thought appeared to me as well but it didn't when I was shooting probably because I did not want to attract too much attention :/ Probably next time I will do as you say
