Nice shot. Two things I would change is the landscape orientation (to portrait) and have him facing the light so that his face is illuminated more evenly.

The highlights bother me... The eye tend to be attracted to the lightest part of the picture, and, in this case, it is the background. I would try to make it a bit darker (the background) and lighten the face a little... But that's just me.
