I like the picture, but why do you have the subject dead cente? Centering the subject only works for certain type of shots.Try croping out a little of the left. Good dof, thought the purple on the wing is a little distracting.

I believe the picture would do better in black and white. Add a little contrast to it.

A little sharper focus would be nice but I like the overall shot. The tattered wing on the butterfly really adds to it. I keep wondering what happened to the poor thing.

Really pretty shot. I agree with cropping and think that it should have a little darker black and the purple shout be toned down. I bet if you upped the black level just a tad on the entire image it would pop the butterfly out a little more! Great capture.

Good shot, could be focused more on the butterfly rather than the leaf. (actually it just might be a little out of focus). What settings and equiptment were you using? Nice colors and a little cropping would work as well. All in all, good butterfly pic.
