Composites

Ok, ladies and gents, I've found something that I really enjoy doing, and would like to get better. Composites...

So far, it has been very challenging (especially in post) but I've only done two. I'd like some suggestions as far as the layouts, things that cause distractions, and what editing could be improved in post.

I think it would work best if the subject... Which I presume to be you.. Were in focus.

I like the concept and appreciate the work you put into it. However the background in at least the second is very distracting and takes away from your floating dishes.

I toned it down quite a bit by darkening the shadows. Basically, in these initial stages, I'm just trying to make everything look as real as possible without making it look over processed.
