Ok, for your review... Guess I'm going to ask about the composition for one, and do you feel the shot , without actual subject , has merit?

that actually is a pretty good photo in all respects. Nice use of lines (fence) to keep the eye interested.
 
Composition-wise this is similar to a photo where a path, river or road leads into the photo and could be considered the centre of interest. In this case it is the fence that is the centre of interest and how it leads into the general landscape. The diagonals and the trees give the shot great perspective as well.

Skieur... Thanks also , and another Thanks for the notice of the natural frame, tree.... I do think that is the key to the shot , as much as the fence... The tree gives dimension..
