On our daily walk, my dog Max caught the scent of a mouse or vole in the weeds. His concentration was riveted on the scent. After a few exciting minutes he realized the critter has moved on.

Nice set. He seems pretty intent. That's how I am at restaurants now, checking my food for critters and things that don't belong. About a month ago I found a thin piece of twisted tin that peeled off of a tin can when it was opened, apparently right over my fish sandwich. Thank god I felt it before I swallowed it.
