confused? is this the canon eos 1000d?

I am looking for a Canon EOS 1000D

but when i look it up on amazon, i can only find this link:

Canon uses different designations worldwide for the Rebel line. Here in the states, they go by Rebel XT, Rebel T2i, etc. 350D, 400D, 1000D, etc., are the European (I believe) designations, and in Japan they go under the "Kiss" name. Many people here in the states often use the European designations.
