What's new

Congratulations, I'm the last-minute wedding photographer!

Could you post some of the photos? I'm interested to see the results.

I will in a few days. I have several hundred to sort through, then there's some PP. Honestly a lot of them are not terribly exciting, and the majority of the reception is going to be snapshots and blown-out flash bombs.

At the very least I'll probably post an SOS thread asking for some help with the lighting... it was really wack.

Out of 700-some pictures, I managed to salvage around 150 of them.

Not my best work, but there's still some decent ones. The joys of learning.

A lot of them are snapshots, stuff only friends (myself included) would enjoy, like dancing, weird poses, and so on.

I'll ask for C&C, although I'm well aware these images are far from perfect.

Some notes:

1) Black and White can salvage some pictures that would otherwise be garbage in color.
2) My on-camera flash is a lot more powerful than I would have figured. I should probably learn how to use it someday.
3) Anything over 400 ISO on an XTi should only be used in photographic emergencies.

The rest are at kevin and ashley's wedding - a set on Flickr

Bitter got married?!??? ;) j/k

Indoor photography =<ISO400 is a tough one, esp. without a flash you can bounce.

These are not bad at all man.

They will be happy. These are actually ok pictures. Money shot is 4 even though it is up their nose. Goes to show skill > gear.
