Converted Mills

Taken on my phone, this is now a shopping street with a high glass lantern lit roof, but it was once a cobbled alleyway between factories. A beautiful example of what can be done with our industrial heritage. In Leek, Staffordshire.

It really is, there is a cafe at the end too! It's hidden, I've been to Leek hundreds of times and never noticed it, walked straight past it!

Great place - it's just like stepping back in time, it has a real Dickensian feel to it (possibly designed by Mr. Pecksniff himself )
I like the lights contrasting against the dark roof ridge.
