Cooper's Hawk

[Glenn Bartley]

I just love watching these guys cruise around the neighborhood terrorizing the songbirds. Such awesome birds!!

My first reaction when I saw this image on my LCD was that I wish he had banked a bit. But this pose is kind of growing on me. What about you? What do you think?

Camera Model: Canon EOS 7D

Wow! Nice job!

Superb Glenn, did you use much PP? Over 600mm of lens going on there, even with 1/1600 that is razor sharp, well done!

[pbelarge]

The fact this bird is looking in the direction somewhat towards the camera really helps. It is a good picture because it is not a common pose/angle normally seen.

[Frequency]

Really marvellous; as before you are blessed with a doubtless eye-contact

[Don Kondra]

I'd be pleased with that Glenn.

It's all about the eye/s

Cheers, Don
