Coreldraw for post processing image

Usually for post-processing I use Photoshop, but this time I chose CorelDRAW X5. I have never had any problems with it before. Yesterday at 8 p.m. I decided to add some new details to .cdr file and I opened it, but some parts of file were spoilt. I saw that missed more important details that I had added the day before yesterday. I can't continue my work and I have a question for your dear pats, how to get my changes back? Is it possible or not?

Corel makes a .BAK backup file that has the same name and is usually located in the same folder as the original file, but can also be located in the /Programs/Corel/Programs/Draw folder.

When a file is corrupted or otherwise damaged, find the .BAK file, open it, and copy it (save as) over the original corrupted file.
