Is it me or are you focused on the tree instead of the bird in last two shots? Maybe its color/contrast of the bird...

Anyways, good composition, nice shots, wish the subjects were a little brither but then again maybe it is their color

Just wondering what your thinking is on post processing ?

For instance, I was able to pull quite a bit of feather detail out of your last image with Elements 7...

Keep in mind I shoot a relatively low number of frames and kinda don't mind the additional time to process my raw images.

I like the sharpness on this set. Definitely better than your average. :thumbup: Im guessing your distance to the subject was much less than usual?

Like Don, I am also a little perplexed on your pp work. It seems many of your images would pop more with just a touch of RAW work.

I agree. I've spent a lot of time behind the lens and in the darkroom, but my computer PP skills are still at the novice stage. I'm working on it (for example, I'm going on vacation tomorrow with my camera and also with my copy of "Layers for Photoshop").
