County Fair Photo Exhibit

My fish picture, above, was one of four that I entered in the county fair. It received a first place ribbon in its category. Two of the others received fifth and sixth place ribbons respectively.

The big thing for me was seeing the many wonderful photographs displayed. They have motivated me to learn and enhance my photography skills.

Well as my Dad would say “ a blind squirrel can find an acorn”. I have 11 months to learn my camera / lenses and composition before a planned Alaska trip. I’ve got a lot to do before then. Next step is joining the local camera club in September.
