Couple shots of my dog. C&C

Hey guys i finally got my first real DSLR and im learning as much as i can from this website but i've only had the camera for about 5 days now. I need some tips based on what you see of where/how i can improve my shots. These were taken with a D3100 50-200mm lens

I like the 1st one the best. However the blue on your dog's face and in the snow is a little distracting. It should be a really easy fix in PS. The 2nd and 3rd I don't find all that interesting, but they're your pets and probably have more meaning to you than others.

I actually really like the 3rd one. It's a nice to see a different view once in a while. Nice job!

I like how you filled the frame with your subject. You had some strong light in number one as evidenced by the shadow on the smaller dog. To me that's a no win situation because fill flash might have dealt with the shadow (some) but it would have over exposed the dog in the foreground. The out of focus tail on 3 kind of ruins the shot. The snow wasn't doing you any favors here either. Nice hounds though.
